Will my doctor still see me if I file bankruptcy?
I have never seen or heard of any patient being turned away by any medical professional. The medical and health care system could no more turn someone away than demand insurance before admitting someone to the emergency room.
Keep in mind that if you want to you can still pay and medical bill even after it is discharged. All the bills have to be listed in your bankruptcy paperwork.
